Traditional Post & Rail Timber Fencing

This fence is made up of 1.8m x 100mm x 100mm posts with timber caps and 4.2m x 100mm x 44mm rails pressure treated, douglas fir, painted brown. (Post centre 2.1m and rails 150mm spaced apart)

Larch Posts with Diamond Top
This fence is made up with Larch Posts (for longer life) 1.8m x 125mm x 125mm with Diamond Top and Rails are douglas fir, 4.8m x 125mm x 44mm all pressure treated.The larger sized timber will make for longer lifespan.(Post centre 2.4m and rails 200mm spaced apart) Height of fence aproximately 1.1m
Creosote, 4 Rail Timber Fence
This fence is made up of douglas fir 1.8m x 100mm x 100mm posts and 4.8m x 100mm x 44mm rails cresote pressure treated . (Post centre 2.4m and rails 200mm spaced apart) Height of fence aproximately 1.2m
Creosote, 3 Rail Fence
This fence is made up of larch posts 1.8m x 150mm x 100mm and douglas fir 4.8m x 100mm x 44mm rails cresote pressure treated . (Post centre 2.4m and rails 200mm spaced apart) Height of fence aproximately 0.9m
Special Top Mortice Fence
Special top mortice fence using 4.8m x 150mm x 44mm douglis fir rails with 1.8m x 150mm x 150mm larch posts. All timber pressure treated. Post centres 2.4m, height of fence approx. 1.1m to top rail.
Diamond Top Mortice Fence
In this picture you can see us in the middle of erecting a, Morticed 3 rail timber fence.
This morticed 3 rail fence is made up with Larch Posts (for longer life) 1.8m x 150mm x 125mm with Diamond Top and Rails are douglas fir, 4.8m x 125mm x 44mm all pressure treated.The larger sized timber will make for longer lifespan.(Post centre 2.4m and rails 200mm spaced apart) Height of fence aproximately 1.1m
As you can see. This fence is erected with a coloured stone underneath... It helps enhance the overall look of the fence, as well as leaving it virtually maintenance free.
This douglis fir picket fence is made from 1.8m 150mm x 22mm roundtop boards with 2.7m x 100mm x 100mm posts with timber caps being shown at the front, and the rails 4.8m x 100mm x 44mm at the rear of fence.
